The course
The Molchanovs Wave 1 course
Wave 1 is where freediving becomes yours. Over three days you'll build the relaxation, equalization and technique to dive comfortably along the line — and the theory to understand exactly what happens in your body.
Complete the Discover course first? Day one of Wave 1 is credit for it, and the full €130 is deducted from your course fee.

Schedule
Three days to 20 meters
Day 1
Theory session, breathing & stretching, confined-water skills in the pool or calm bay.
Day 2
Open water: first line dives to 12–16 m — equalization, duck dive, freefall basics.
Day 3
Final depth dives, exam, and your Wave 1 certification celebration.
Requirements
Who can join
- 16+ years old (12+ with a guardian)
- Able to swim 200 m unaided
- Completed medical statement
- No previous freediving experience needed
