What the first dive feels like
Most people arrive nervous about one breath and leave talking about the second day. Here is what graduates say about their courses, and what comes home with them.

What divers say
“Top guy! Relaxed instructor, zero ego, safe and confidence inspiring. I did the Wave 1 course over the past few days and couldn't be happier. Octopus, eels, pipe fish, caves... And we saw a seahorse. Thanks dude.”

“I had a great time diving with Ivan! I am Molchanovs Wave 1 and came to Malta to expand my depth experience and maybe get some new PBs (and i did!). I dived with Ivan for 3 days in a row - all great session where I improved my dives every day and got familiar with new techniques and theory. Thank you, Ivan - see you next time!”

From the course days
The moments that come up again and again
The pattern is remarkably consistent. The morning starts quiet, with a lot of questions about ears and equalisation. By the afternoon the same people are lying on the surface, breathing up calmly, and diving the line without needing to be talked through it.
The first ten metres
For almost every beginner, ten metres is the moment that changes the week. It is not a dramatic depth, but it is the first time the bottom of the line becomes something you can reach rather than something you look down at.
Photos to take home
Every course includes underwater photos of your dives. Students often say the photos are what convinced their friends to book — a single frame of someone hanging weightless on a line does more than any description.

If you have dived with us, a Google review genuinely helps other people decide whether to try it. It takes a minute, and it is the single most useful thing past students do for the school.
